Our association has successfully applied for the Danube Interregional project, the main objective of which is to transform the Danube region's wood industry model towards Industry 4.0. We started working with the 14 partners of the project in January 2024.
After the kick-off meeting in Ljubljana, we started working together with companies from South Transdanubia. Local SMEs in the timber industry agreed to fill in a questionnaire, which was followed by a mapping exercise. We will continue to work with our partners and, on the basis of their feedback, we will continue to reflect on possible solutions for the development of the wood industry through workshops.
